Here’s the truth:
the job market isn’t built for students. I learned that the hard way.
April 2022, I moved to a new country, completely on my own. No relatives, no friends, no connections, just a student trying to figure life out.
I applied to over 250 jobs in two months. Entry-level, internships, part-time, anything to support myself. I got 2 interviews. ZERO offers.
It wasn’t because I lacked drive or talent. I was trying, really doing everything I could. But the system just isn’t built to give us, students, a real chance.
Eventually, I noticed a gap, and used it to land my first opportunity. But I never forgot that feeling of being fully capable but ghosted. That’s what brought Junior to life: by students, for students. So no one has to go through what I went through alone.
Junior helps students gain real experience, and SMEs find young talent fast. And we aim to do it with heart, purpose, and belief in every step.
This isn’t just a startup to me. It’s a mission. Because I know how hard it is when you’re trying to knock on doors and no one’s answering.
