Engineering students and graduates, don’t know what to post on LinkedIn? Here are 7 things you should do right now:
1- Get a professional profile picture. 2- Create a clear headline and banner that explain who you are and what you’re interested in. 3- Fill out your experience section. No experience yet? Add projects, competitions, certifications, coursework, or anything you’ve worked on. 4- Start posting. Share what you’re learning, projects you’re building, tools you’re using, or lessons from your courses. 5- Add variety. Mix between updates, lessons learned, industry insights, achievements, and personal experiences. 6- Engage with others (givers gain). Comment on posts, ask questions, and contribute to discussions. 7- Connect with people… and please, send a note with every connection!
Most students think they need years of experience before becoming active on LinkedIn… you don’t! You just need to start.
This one is from my brother, Mohamad Jandali. I thought it was too good not to share.
